Michael Thomas Parsons, age 57 of Byron and formerly of Linden, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Born October 15, 1955 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of Buddy H. and Norma J. (Kensler) Parsons. Mike was a former 30 year employee of Ford Motor Company working at their Detroit Parts Division and National Parts Distribution. He enjoyed woodworking, electronics, fishing and coaching baseball. He is survived by his wife Sheri A. (Smith) Parsons whom he married in Wayne, Michigan on July 18, 1975. Loving father of Brent (Katie) Parsons of Hartland, Kyle Parsons of Grand Blanc and proud grandfather of Ryder. Also survived by his father, Buddy Parsons of Westland; siblings, Pam (Dave) Chapman of Florida and Penny Zywick of Birmingham, MI; brother-in-law, Keith (Dawn) Smith of Fowlerville, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma. In accordance with his wishes, no services are scheduled.
