David Lee Bredernitz, age 77 of Howell, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012. Born January 13, 1935 in Saline, MI, he was the son of Karl and Clara (Vandepoole) Bredernitz. Loving father of Lynn (Joseph) Hastings of Ohio and Mark Bredernitz of Howell. Step-father to Debra Lech of Ohio and Julie (Mark) Epley of Howell. Proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law, Dorothy Bredernitz. Dave was preceded in death by his loving wives, Joann (1970) and Janet (2005) and his brother Robert. He was a Certified Public Accountant and co-owner of Bredernitz, Wagner and Company in Howell and was a member of the Howell Rotary, Howell Elks Club, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and was a U.S. Army veteran. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 beginning at 10 a.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
