Robin Coleman, age 55 of Howell, passed away at the Crestmont Nursing Care Center in Fenton on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Born in Detroit on February 9, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Jane (Kurish) Coleman. A longtime Howell area resident, Robin was a 1976 graduate of Brighton High School. When in school she was active in Special Olympics, basketball cheerleading, bowling with her work skills group and with Special Ministries of Livingston County. She had a special place in her heart for all types of cats. Robin is survived by her siblings, Sheila (Doug) Lockard of Howell, Dawn Coleman of Brighton, Gene (Jan) Coleman of Florida and Jerry (Irene) Coleman of Florida. Also survived by her special niece, Lyndsay Coleman of Brighton and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sister Lucy Coleman-Lawrie. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with funeral services Friday, 11:00 a.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Pastor Jeffrey Blagg of SonRise Church officiating. Interment to follow at Chilson Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Livingston County Humane Society.
