G. Donald Cowan, age 73 of Brighton, passed away at his home Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He was born March 7, 1939 in Detroit, MI, the son of George and Mabel (Tolbert) Cowan. Beloved husband of Nancy Ann (Rozman) Cowan whom he married June 16, 1962 in Detroit. Loving father of Kristen (David) Peterson and Michael Cowan. Grandfather of Brandon and Ashley Peterson; brother of Nancy (Lloyd) Conley and brother-in-law of Arlene Kent and uncle of her children, Brian, Kevin and Todd. Don was an administrator for Farmington Public Schools for 36 years. Visitation will be Friday, April 20 from 1-8 p.m. with funeral services Saturday at 11 a.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800). Burial in Chilson Cemetery.
